NC-PACE, funded by a $2 million grant from the National Security Agency’s National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity, brings together eleven of North Carolina’s prestigious universities and community colleges along with public agencies and private-sector businesses to support the cybersecurity ecosystem in North Carolina. NC-PACE takes a proactive approach to defending against cyber attacks to "harden" the states' security posture, mitigate risks and threats to critical infrastructure, address the cybersecurity workforce gap, and establish cybersecurity as an economic development tool for the state.
